Mónica Romero

Born in Barcelona and naturalized in the United States, the country where I have lived since 2010, I earned my degree in Translation and Interpretation from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) in 2002.

I worked for several years as a technical translator and project manager in the Barcelona office of an international translation company. I have gained more than 20 years of experience as a freelance translator, translating and reviewing technical documentation for clients in various industries, e.g., automotive, banking and finance, mechanical engineering and machinery, IT and communications, and public and private institutions. I work with several computer-assisted tools and am a certified PRO member of ProZ.

When I’m not translating, you’ll find me road riding, surfing or playing with my dogs.
