I was born in Barcelona but have made Germany my home. I obtained a degree in Translation and Interpretation from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). My entire professional career has focused on translation. I am passionate about all aspects of foreign languages, the study of language in general, and the challenges presented by communication between different cultures.  

I started working as a translator for a company in Barcelona and later joined the language unit of a multinational firm in the automotive industry based in Stuttgart, where I translated, reviewed, and coordinated in the fields of marketing, press and advertising. With this background, I felt confident to start my journey as a freelance translator 25 years ago. Since then, I have gained extensive experience in various sectors, such as the chemical industry, automotive engineering, logistics, transport, energy, environment, lighting technology, architecture and tourism. I continue to learn and enjoy my profession as if it were the first day. I am member of BDÜ, the German Federal Association of Interpreters and Translators.
